2017 წლის 20 ივნისს ახალი საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტში, კავკასიური ფილოსოფიისა და თეოლოგიის სამეცნიერო-კვლევითი არქივის ორგანიზებით გაიმართა სამეცნიერო კონფერეცია თემაზე: „პლატონის პოლიტიკური ფილოსოფია“. კონფერენციის მუშაობაში ერთად მონაწილეობა მიიღეს კავკასიური ფილოსოფიისა და თეოლოგიის სამეცნიერო-კვლევითი არქივის მეცნიერ-თანამშრომლებმა. კონფერენციის მუშაობას ესწრებოდნენ და დისკუსიებში აქტიურ მონაწილეობას იღებდნენ ახალი საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის სტუდენტები.
დმანისისა და აგარაკ-ტაშირის, დიდი ბრიტანეთისა და ირლანდიის მთავარეპისკოპოსის, მაღალყოვლადუსამღვდელოესი ზენონის წარდგინებით, სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქმა, უწმიდესმა და უნეტარესმა ილია მეორემ დმანისის სიონის საკათედრო ტაძრის იღუმენი დიონისე (გვიმრაძე) არქიმანდრიტის ხარისხში აღამაღლა.
ახალი საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის რექტორატი, პროფესორ-მასწავლებლები და ადმინისტრაცია გულითადად ულოცავენ ქრისტიანული ფილოსოფიის სამაგისტრო პროგრამის სტუდენტს, აწ უკვე არქიმანდრიტ დიონისეს (გვიმრაძე) საქართველოს ეკლესიის წინაშე მის მიერ გაწეული ღვაწლის ესოდენ მაღალ შეფასებას და უსურვებენ წარმატებებს მის უმნიშვნელოვანეს სამომავლო მსახურებაში. აქსიოს! აქსიოს! აქსიოს!
2017 წლის 6-7 ივნისს ახალი საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტში პროფ. ჰელმუტ შნაიდერმა ჩაატარა სემინარი ჰეგელის ესთეტიკის შესახებ. სემინარის ფარგლებში განხილული იქნა ჰეგელის ლექციები ესთეტიკის შესახებ, რომლებიც გერმანელი ფილოსოფოსის ბერლინურ პერიოდს განეკუთვნება. სემინარში აქტიურ მონაწილეობას იღებდნენ ქრისტიანული ფილოსოფიის სამაგისტრო პროგრამის სტუდენტები.
On June 5, 2017 at the conference hall of the Archive of Caucasian Philosophy and Theology Prof. Helmut Schneider delivered a public lecture Hegel's Aesthetics: Metaphysics and History of Art. The lecture was delivered in the framework of the workshop dedicated to Hegel's Aesthetics and theory of art.
On May 23 Student Academic Conference "Dionysius the Areopagite and Peter the Iberian" was held at the conference hall of the Archive of Caucasian Philosophy and Theology.

2017 წლის 15-24 მაისს ახალი საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის ასოცირებული პროფესორი გიორგი ხუროშვილი მიწვეულია ლაზარსკის უნივერსიტეტში (ვარშავა, პოლონეთი). ვიზიტის ფარგლებში იგი ამავე უნივერსიტეტის პოლიტიკურ მეცნიერებათა მიმართულების სტუდენტებისათვის წაიკითხავს ლექციათა ციკლს პოლიტიკისა და სამართლის თეორიის აქტუალური პრობლემების შესახებ. 19 მაისს ასოც. პროფესორი ხუროშვილი მონაწილეობას მიიღებს ევროპული პოლიტიკის საერთაშორისო აკადემიური კვირეულის პლენარულ სესიაშიც, სადაც წაიკითხავს მოხსენებას თემაზე: „რუსეთის ამჟამინდელი საგარეო პოლიტიკა: ევროპული უსაფრთხოების ახალი გამოწვევები“.
On May 9, 2017, the Executive Director of the London Information Network on Conflicts and State-building, Dr. Dennis Sammut delivered a public lecture: South Caucasus in next decade: fragmentation, integration, or isolation? The speaker spoke extensively on the political situation in South Caucasus and challenges the region is facing.
The lecture was organized within the framework of continuing education program Christianity and Contemporary World.
On April 27, 2017 at the conference hall of the Archive of Caucasian Philosophy and Theology the Head of Tbilisi Department of National Statistics Office of Georgia, Associate Professor Irakli Kakhidze delivered a public lecture. The title of the lecture was Social Media and Contemporary Society. The lecture was organized within the framework of continuing education program Christianity and Contemporary World. The speaker spoke extensively on the role of social media and challenges facing contemporary society. The Lecture was followed by an interesting discussion.
On April 4, 2017 Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia Mr. William Lahue delivered a public lecture on the relationship between NATO and Georgia and on NATO's engagement in South Caucasus. Mr. Lahue extensively spoke about Georgia's perspectives for membership in the alliance. On the same day Mr. Lahue had a meeting with the Rector of New Georgian University and academic staff.
